Can someone list what they eat in a day when taking Mounjaro or Zepbound?

Absolutely!

I started off with Mounjaro, then switched to Zepbound, but now take both plus compound Tirzepatide from Mochi Health, depending on availability. All three work exactly the same for me. So whether I dose Mounjaro or Zepbound or Tirzepatide, its the same level of disinterest in food and all have ZERO side effects on my life.

When you find it hard to find something you want to eat or are only able to force yourself to eat 3 or 4 bites, the drug is working as intended. It is at this time we have to make some intentionally smart choices to fuel our bodies. So the question is: What to eat when you don't feel like eating anything?

First of all, I do try to not graze all day long with a bite here and there as its a bad habit, too hard to keep tally, plus you are not utilizing satiety or FULLNESS as an ally. Eat meals - Breakfast, Lunch, Supper.

For breakfast, I blend 2 tablespoons Glow Vanilla Cinnamon protein into 2 tablespoons Chobani Hazelnut Creamer in my mug and add two double shots of espresso. It’s delicious and thankfully, it is small since I can barely finish my coffee most days. (15g protein)

Another go to breakfast, is a Daisy Cottage Cheese with Fruit. It's just 1/2 cup so it is a small easy to eat 14 grams of protein. I can eat it all. I also find it easy to eat a piece of toast or English muffin with whipped butter and a slice of deli ham. (14 grams protein)

Lunch is a folded slice of Butterball deli turkey breast (about 10 grams protein/slice) and Swiss cheese (about 8 grams/ 1 ounce slice) on a Kings Hawaiian roll with lettuce tomato mayo and I eat more than half of it.  (18 grams protein)

For supper it’s about 3 ounces of pan sautéed chicken cutlet, or a Shake and Bake pork chop or a broiled filet mignon or slow baked salmon with teriyaki sauce served with either a small pile of tossed salad or small baked potato. I eat four or five mixed bites and it’s over. I lose interest in eating before I am full, so I stop and push the plate away. (meats and seafood contain about 8 grams of protein per ounce, so 3 ounces = about 24 grams protein)

Here is an easy tip to gauge your protein. Right now, take a look at the palm of your hand. A four ounce portion of steak would be the palm of your hand minus your thumb and fingers, same thickness and size. I will cook two 4 ounce portions for my husband and myself, but when I slice it to plate, I give him two of my slices to reapportion.

Soups go down easily so on nights when I don’t cook or don’t feel like eating, I heat a can of Progresso Minestrone and put some in a mug with a couple of tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese. Parmesan cheese has 2 grams of protein per tablespoon and aged cheeses do not have lactose, so it isn't just a punch of flavor but tops off your protein as well.

Since I do need to feed my family, I find that homemade soups are excellent as I can fill quart deli containers for the freezer (Amazon). It's impossible to make soup for two, and even when I intentionally make 'a small pot of soup', it's enough for three meals for the two of us.

I do waste a lot, as I’m so uninterested in the food once I’ve cooked it that I don’t want to save it. I have to force myself to save it, otherwise I push it down the garbage disposal. Putting it into deli containers I buy in sleeves of 20 on Amazon helps me deal with the issue.

I’m taking a 15 GLP1/GIP dose that I started last September and have lost 70 pounds with about ten more to go. Slow and steady wins the race! I am thrilled with my results.
