Doses for Semaglutide, Ozempic and Wegovy

Doses for Semaglutide, Ozempic and Wegovy

First it is important to understand that Semaglutide, Ozempic and Wegovy are all the same medication. Ozempic is the original branded name for the semaglutide peptide for diabetes control. It was then renamed Wegovy to be used for weight loss. Both of these brand named medications are semaglutide peptides and the compounded formulation presented by FDA regulated pharmacies are simply called Semaglutide. They are the same meds and produce the same results.

It is noted that when people begin their Ozempic Wegovy or Semaglutide path at .25 mg injections they are afraid to dose up or move up to higher concentrations. Many are easily influenced by the attention seeking drama people post on social media and allow it to scare them.

Most people do NOT have massive or debilitating side effects. Most people notice 'nothing'. Nothing happens and unfortunately it's a big letdown. It should be celebrated as it means you have zero reaction, which is the intention of this baby starter dose!  Please try to not be scared of what will likely not happen. It saddens me to read of people who keep the med for a week or two because they are scared of what might happen.

The medication was designed to be taken at therapeutic doses of 1.0 or higher. The reason you are starting at 0.25 and then .50  is to get your body used to the drug where IF in the unlikely event you did have a negative reaction, it would be small and manageable. You are not supposed to STAY at this low dose. Four weeks and move up. The exception is if you are one of the few who do have a problem taking this medication.

THERE IS NO PRIZE AWARDED IF YOU GET TO GOAL WEIGHT WHILE ON THE LOWEST DOSE OF THE MEDICATION. It is a better plan to use this super expensive and effective medication as it was intended to be used.

Here is how all medical studies and the maker of these drugs recommend you dose upwards until you reach therapeutic dose where you may remain.
