Salmon Plate

Salmon Plate

This is how I tend to eat while in the midst of high dose Tirzepatide, Mounjaro and Zepbound GLP1 medications. Little piles of food on my plate, where I am able to adjust where my fork goes. Swap out the baked salmon with chicken tenders, pork tenderloin, shrimp, or thinly sliced steak. You can cook your protein by: Roasting in a 400 degree oven until just cooked, Pan sautéing in a drizzle of olive oil, Tossing on preheated screaming hot outdoor grill.

I like a small bed of lettuce. I do better with butter or baby lettuce. Then I add shaved red onion, avocado, sliced radish for some snap. I have a big container of McCormick Everything Bagel Seasoning, procured from Amazon that I love to sprinkle.

I drizzle my assembled plate with really good olive oil, and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and chopped herbs I have coaxed from my pot in the backyard.

It is VERY difficult for me to eat even small meals at this time, so I don’t cook as well as I am known for anymore. By the time I simmer a pot of short ribs, I no longer have any interest in eating them. I have VERY strong food aversion that borders on being repulsed by most foods. With assembling a plate, I can eat what I'd like.

Keeping it super simple and cooking fresh food is the key for me. Hope that it helps you too!
